Manual call point (MCP) is an easily accessible point in a building where a fire alarm switch is mounted and activated manually to alert residents of a fire by sounding the evacuation alarm to the relevant building. It is essential for the MCP to be placed in an area (whether they are mounted indoors or outdoors) where they can be activated quickly, easily and reliably from all call points.

It is operated by manually breaking the glass covering the alarm button and pressing the button. Can be connected in conjunction with a smoke detector alarm to the building?s overall alarm system through a fire alarm panel.

Criteria for a Standard Manual Call Point?

MCP can be broken – glass type, when struck by the operator, the glass shall be designed to prevent injury or otherwise, Key operated the type

Firefighters use these reels to quickly distribute fire hoses from their equipment trucks at the site of a blaze.?The fire hose reels are manufactured in both manual and automatic versions and are highly resistant to Oil, Acids, Alkalis and Industrial Chemicals. Also, Resistance to heat, cold and ozone.

Properly used, fire hose reels prevent water hoses from tangling and allow the hoses to be carried in any direction. The attached hoses can apply water to a blaze even if most of the hose is still wound around the reel.

The characteristics of Fire Hose

The hose is produced with polyurethane that has high-pressure resistance, oil resistance, corrosion resistance, as well as light and soft.

The body of the hose is made of high tension polyester filaments throughout. The hose is lined with rubber that is resistant to corrosion, abrasion, and high pressure. It is water non-leaking, mild proof, easy to roll, light, flexible.

A fitted brass fire hose reel nozzle and a brass ball valve to ensure long life and durability.

-? A guide arm that is fitted with roller beads to ensure the hose flows freely and doesn?t kink.

-? Side plates that are made from tough powder coated zincalume steel (per AS 4506).

Hose Reel discs are made of 1.2mm Electro Galvanized Steel Sheet, painted with electrostatic powder coating and oven baked. Hose Reel Drum has ribs to give extra strength and avoid twisting.
